Let's all give a sigh of relief that 2009 is over.  For a lot of us, it was a tough year to swallow, but it's over now and time to look forward!

2010 will bring CHIFCPUG a new President, Sue Lawson who will guide us into learning more about our favorite ap, new and exciting products to make our jobs easier, some special speakers along the way, and a lot of good laughs.

This will be our second year without a permanent home.  2009 taught us all that we do just fine as Gypsies – roaming from generous sponsor to generous sponsor, but always managing to feel right at home no matter where we are.  Our membership is strong and growing.  We've managed to nearly fill each meeting place to capacity.  So, let's keep attending those meetings, offering suggestions on presentations, sharing, learning and laughing in 2010!

The Chicago Final Cut Pro Users Group (CHIFCPUG) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the education and development of its members through the exchange of ideas, knowledge and experience.

We focus not only upon the Final Cut Pro software but on other video editing, compositing and authoring software/hardware in the professional video, broadcast, event videography and prosumer markets in the Chicagoland area.
